The Acupuncture Marketing Blog

Discover, Dream, Design and Destiny

A few years back, while my business was going through a slow period I started developing some affiliate marketing sites online. Some were good, some not so good. However, this hobby of mine has continued through building and rebuilding a much more successful acupuncture practice. I continue to read a lot about online marketing.
Recently, a blog I regularly read had an article entitled Nailing Down the Art of Appreciative Inquiry. While this was quoting yet another article, I liked the way Terry over at Superaff worded her article. She focuses on this idea from the point of view of a marketer. In a nutshell, what you focus on is what you get. If you focus on what works, you are likely to go out and do more of it. If you focus on what’s not working, well then you know why things aren’t working but have you discovered anything new?

I’d heard the idea of what you focus on you get before. However, I think Terry took this concept a step farther for me, creating a solid, quantifiable reason for this to be true in marketing. For that reason alone I have to give this article a must read recommendation.

The article is great. When she starts talking about online business, insert acupuncture business. There’s a lot of good information there.
